One of Cologne's most treasured pastimes is its beer, the Kölsch, a special variety that can only be brewed in Cologne. On this tour, you’ll take a journey through Cologne’s Old Town and get to know some of the breweries that perfected the Kölsch and the culture that has grown around it over the years.
Kölsch is no doubt the lifeblood of Cologne as much as the Rhein River. On our beer tour through the Altstadt, we’ll visit some of Cologne’s Iconic Brauhauses, get to know about the history of the waiters who serve the Kölsch, the glasses that it comes in, the local rules about Kölsch, and give you insights and tips that you won’t find elsewhere all while tasting the best Kölsch you can find in the city.
Along the way, you'll learn what makes the Kölsch so unique, and why it is the best beer in the region. You’ll hear the stories that helped make Kölsch what it is today and experience a typical night out in Cologne while you're at it!

Llegamos a Colonia a primera hora de la tarde y pudimos reservar en el último minuto. Mi marido estaba muy contento con la gira, la degustación y la información presenta. Éramos un grupo de 9 personas (5 participantes reales del tour y otros 4 conectados con el guía). Fue una gran experiencia tener tantos lugareños a lo largo y compartir su visión. Sin duda recomendaría esta excursión. Nuestro guía estaba bien informado, era fácil de entender y entretenido. A tener en cuenta: reservamos a través de Freetour.com. Tomaron un depósito con la reserva, pero luego esperaban que pagáramos en efectivo el resto. Esta información no fue proporcionada por adelantado. Al igual que en las visitas gratuitas, había que dar propina al guía. Te dan tres cervezas de 3EUR en el tour y luego pagas de tu bolsillo por cualquier compra adicional.

En la descripción se indica que la ruta de la cerveza Kolsch te presenta cervecerías individuales. Esto nos pilló desprevenidos, ya que no habíamos visitado ninguna. Sin embargo, se mencionaron en la explicación en un pub. Visitamos cuatro bares. Por lo demás, buena excursión.
