Athens Food & Walking Tour
Visão Geral do Tour
We meet at a central metro station in Athens and start our tasting walking tour by having a "koulouri"(sesame bread) on the go as you hear interesting stories about the buildings we come across and the Athenian lifestyle. Next, we'll have a taste of plenty of Greek products of mother nature such as olives, olive oil, honey, cold cuts, wines, raki, and many more. As we continue our tour we'll make a stop at a historic coffee shop in Athens and have a Greek coffee made in the traditional way along with "loukoumi" dessert bites. Next, we'll visit a meat and dairy delicatessen shop where we'll taste their signature cold cuts along with local spirits. Expect to taste more than 15 local products and feel like you had a full lunch!
During this walking tour, you will also have the chance to learn interesting facts about the history of Athens and I will try to fulfill any requests you may have provided the rest of the participants are up to it!! Please note that we create groups of just a few people simply because we love the interaction between the members of the group!
To join you need a vaccination passport, certificate of covid19 illness or a negative PCR or rapid test result

Meine Reiseleiterin war großartig und sehr geduldig. Die Tour war sehr gut organisiert und verlief reibungslos. Wir besuchten Geschäfte in lokalem Besitz und probierten verschiedene Speisen und Getränke. Meine Reiseleiterin (ich glaube, ihr Name war Aditha???) verfügte über viel Fachwissen und vermittelte zudem die Perspektive der Einheimischen. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!
Unsere Führerin Eleni war absolut fantastisch! Wir schätzen ihre Hingabe, so viel griechisches Essen wie möglich zu probieren ????. Σας ευχαριστώ!
Was gibt es Schöneres, als eine andere Kultur kennenzulernen, als von einer einheimischen Führerin in ihr Essen eingeführt zu werden? Agatha hat uns nicht nur dabei geholfen, unsere Bäuche zu füllen, sondern sie war auch sehr informativ, indem sie uns über die Geschichte und die Sichtweise der Einheimischen informierte. Eine wunderbare Nutzung der 3 Stunden!
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend in Athen, an dem wir verschiedene griechische Spezialitäten in einer entspannten und lockeren Atmosphäre probieren konnten. Agathi war ein wunderbarer Führer und ich kann diese Tour jedem empfehlen, der gerne isst und einen Einblick in die Geschichte Athens bekommen möchte.
