Athens Food & Walking Tour
Aperçu du circuit
We meet at a central metro station in Athens and start our tasting walking tour by having a "koulouri"(sesame bread) on the go as you hear interesting stories about the buildings we come across and the Athenian lifestyle. Next, we'll have a taste of plenty of Greek products of mother nature such as olives, olive oil, honey, cold cuts, wines, raki, and many more. As we continue our tour we'll make a stop at a historic coffee shop in Athens and have a Greek coffee made in the traditional way along with "loukoumi" dessert bites. Next, we'll visit a meat and dairy delicatessen shop where we'll taste their signature cold cuts along with local spirits. Expect to taste more than 15 local products and feel like you had a full lunch!
During this walking tour, you will also have the chance to learn interesting facts about the history of Athens and I will try to fulfill any requests you may have provided the rest of the participants are up to it!! Please note that we create groups of just a few people simply because we love the interaction between the members of the group!

Our guide, Agatha, is very pleasant in nature, full of knowledge about many topics, gave us a great tour, very friendly personality, brought us to authentic places with very tasty food. Very recommended tour
My guide was amazing and patient. The tour was very well organized and went smoothly. We visited local-owned shops and tried variety of food and drinks. My guide (I think her name was Aditha???) had a lot of factual knowledge but also offered local's perspective. Definitely recommend!
Our guide Eleni was absolutely amazing! We truly appreciate her dedication to try as much Greek food as possible ????. Σας ευχαριστώ!
What is a more wonderful way to learn a different culture than to be introduced to its food by a local guide? Not only did we Agatha helped filled our tummies but she was super informative, sharing her local’s insights, history and perspective. Fabulous use of 3 hours!
We had a wonderful evening in Athens tasting a variety of Greek specialities in a relaxed and easygoing atmosphere. Agathi was a wonderful guide and I can recommend this tour to everyone who likes to eat and get an idea of Athens history.
