Embark on an unforgettable excursion from Brașov to the spectacular Bâlea Lake, one of Romania’s most breathtaking natural destinations. The route follows the legendary Transfăgărășan Highway, considered one of the most beautiful scenic routes in the world, where every bend offers unique views of the Carpathian Mountains, deep valleys, and peaks rising over 2,000 meters in altitude.

During the trip, we’ll make stops at strategic lookout points to admire the scenery and take unforgettable photos. Upon arriving at Lake Bâlea, located 2,034 meters above sea level, you’ll have time to stroll along its shores, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and relax in a setting of extraordinary beauty.

This area is also home to a significant population of brown bears. You may spot one along the road, especially in the summer. If you do, remember that they are wild animals: always observe them from the car, keep a safe distance, and never feed them.
