Upon arriving at Lake Bâlea, located 2,034 meters above sea level, you’ll have time to stroll along its shores, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and relax in a setting of extraordinary beauty.

This area is also home to a significant population of brown bears. You may spot one along the road, especially in the summer. If you do, remember that they are wild animals: always observe them from the car, keep a safe distance, and never feed them.
