We follow the morning footsteps of an Estonian engineer, tracing his daily walk from the wooden houses of Kalamaja to the beating heart of Tallinn’s industrial past, the Volta factories.
Starting at Baltic Railway Station, we move through the streets of Kalamaja, where workers lived in neatly built wooden homes. We follow the quiet stretch of Tööstuse and Vabriku Streets, where industry once dominated the landscape. Along the way, we pause at Cemetery Park, a resting place for generations who shaped this city with their hands and labor.
Finally, we arrive at Volta, where machines once roared and workers clocked in to build Estonia’s industrial future. This is not just a walk. It’s a step into the everyday life of Tallinn’s working past, where homes, streets, and factories were all part of a daily rhythm.

¡Me ha encantado este recorrido por Kalamaja! El barrio tiene un pasado industrial e histórico realmente interesante. Me gustó especialmente cómo se narró el recorrido a través de la historia de un antiguo ingeniero. Hizo que la historia cobrara vida, en lugar de ser solo una lista de datos. Sin duda, lo recomiendo si quieres descubrir una faceta diferente de Tallin.
Tenía ganas de explorar esta parte de Tallin, y Viktor se ofreció a mostrarme la historia, el destino de los habitantes locales y el ambiente de este lugar.

Tuvimos una experiencia muy interesante y muy agradable. Disfrutamos visitando esa parte de la ciudad rica en detalles históricos.
En lugar del típico recorrido por monumentos con datos históricos, recrea una historia a través de un personaje de la época y, a partir de ahí, te va llevando por el barrio. Gracias a esa narrativa, no solo ves los lugares, sino que los entiendes y lo vives de una forma mucho más cercana y original. Es un tour muy dinámico, bien contado y totalmente distinto a lo que suele ofrecerse en este tipo de visitas.
