Tallinn: A City Through An Engineer’s Eyes
Resumen del Tour
We follow the morning footsteps of an Estonian engineer, tracing his daily walk from the wooden houses of Kalamaja to the beating heart of Tallinn’s industrial past, the Volta factories.
Starting at Baltic Railway Station, we move through the streets of Kalamaja, where workers lived in neatly built wooden homes. We follow the quiet stretch of Tööstuse and Vabriku Streets, where industry once dominated the landscape. Along the way, we pause at Cemetery Park, a resting place for generations who shaped this city with their hands and labor.
Finally, we arrive at Volta, where machines once roared and workers clocked in to build Estonia’s industrial future. This is not just a walk. It’s a step into the everyday life of Tallinn’s working past, where homes, streets, and factories were all part of a daily rhythm.
Join the commute. Walk through history. See the city as an engineer once did.

I really enjoyed this tour in Kalamaja! The neighborhood has such an interesting industrial and historical background. I especially liked how the tour was told through the story of an old engineer. It made the history feel alive instead of just being a list of facts. Definitely recommended if you want to discover a different side of Tallinn.
I was interested to explore this part of Tallinn and Viktor offer to follow history ,fate of local men and atmosphere of this place
AMAZING!!!
We had very interesting experience and very friendly. We enjoyed visiting that part of the city rich of history details.
Instead of the typical tour of monuments with historical facts, it recreates a story through a character from that period and, from there, takes you around the neighborhood. Thanks to this narrative, you not only see the places, but you understand them and experience them in a much more intimate and original way. It is a very dynamic tour, well told and totally different from what is usually offered in this type of visit.
