As a solo traveler I spent an amazing day in Istanbul guided by Unsal. Besides the tourist hot spots like Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace in beautiful Gülhane Park and the Basilics Cistern I also got to explorer a more quiet area around the Laleli mosque. Unsal drew my attention to many details that I would otherwise have overlooked and explained the connections across the eras in history. On the great bazar I took chance to get a high quality scarf. On our way we stopped in serveral nice places to taste delicious turkish coffee, tea, freshly squizzes pomegranate/orange juice, pide and baklava. I would absolutely recommend to book this tour with Unsal who is not only an enthusiastic tour guide, but also has a great and warm-hearted personality.
