Guided Tour of Segovia: Cathedral & Alcázar
Tour-Übersicht
We’ll begin our tour at Plaza del Azoguejo, across from the imposing Roman aqueduct—an enduring symbol of Segovia and the perfect starting point for exploring the city.
From there, we’ll walk down the lively Calle Real until we reach Plaza Medina del Campo, surrounded by Renaissance palaces. We’ll continue through the Jewish Quarter, with its narrow alleys and Plaza del Corpus, where we’ll learn about the historical legacy of the Jewish community in the city.
We’ll then arrive at Segovia Cathedral, the majestic “Lady of Cathedrals,” where we’ll discover the elegance of its late Gothic style and its artistic treasures.
We’ll continue along Calle Marqués del Arco, lined with shops and traditional crafts, to Plaza de la Merced. Next, we’ll stroll through the Barrio de las Canonjías, Segovia’s historic ecclesiastical quarter.
We’ll end at the Alcázar of Segovia, a fairytale-like fortress steeped in history, legends, kings, and spectacular panoramic views—the perfect finale to this experience.
After the tour, you’ll be able to enjoy special discounts on restaurant menus and exclusive appetizers.

Our guide, Jaime, explained himself very well, both in the Alcazar and the Cathedral. He was a very nice and pleasant guide. However, we think that the visit lacks about 30 minutes more. The time of one hour in each building, plus the displacements...etc. It's a bit fair. However, congratulations to Jaime for his explanations and kindness.
