Excursion To The Mills Of Zaanse Schans

There is no better way to enjoy the afternoon in the Netherlands than knowing the Zaanse Schans windmills, the economic engine of the country between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries, as the Dutch took advantage of the force of the wind to grind the spices they brought from the colonies, make oils, mustards, etc.
We will enter a mill dedicated to spices to know its operation and a workshop of clogs, where they will show us the method of the manufacture of this traditional Dutch footwear.
We will also visit a cheese factory where we can try a variety of Dutch cheeses and where they will explain the process of making these delicacies.
Of course, before returning to Amsterdam, we will enjoy free time to walk and take the best pictures.

A Ana Maria foi muito simpática a explicar tudo, e muito divertida. Visita muito completa e bem explicada. Muito feliz
A organização, sabendo que o túnel por onde passa o atalho para os moinhos está fechado há mais de um mês, não fez qualquer alteração à organização, como por exemplo ir de comboio em vez de autocarro. Como a organização não foi alterada, chegámos às 16h e os moinhos fecham às 16h30, pelo que não pudemos fazer a visita como gostaríamos, todos à pressa. Durante a visita há duas actividades e tivemos de prescindir de uma delas porque tudo fecha às 18h e não havia tempo para a fazer. A verdade é que por este lado ficámos bastante chateados, pois sabendo disto não fomos informados nem nos fizeram um desconto. Por outro lado, a nossa guia era muito boa, Ana, um 10 em 10.
As informações fornecidas pelo guia não eram muito completas Muito centro e muito turístico A pessoa que fazia o queijo não estava presente e o guia que nos acompanhou explicou-nos, e muito mal, não vimos como se fazia.... O sítio, por si só, é muito bonito, sim!
