O gondoleiro não é um guia é um condutor, não falará com os clientes a bordo. A gôndola é partilhada, podendo embarcar até 5 pessoas.

The price is absolutely disproportionate compared to the same service contracted at the time. Double or more than what it costs to hire it directly. The duration of the service in our case was less than half the published time, in theory because of bad weather, which, if it had been so would have prevented the tour itself, which at no time offered to change. It was not easy to locate the person in charge or the point of contact. An absolute disappointment. An absolute disapointment. The hole ride lasted half the time shown in advertisment "supodsedly" due the weather. However the thin Rain was no obstacle to startthe ride or beggin another ride with other People after we left. And on top of that we paíd the DOUBLE we would have if we hadn't booked.
We were at the meeting point at 17:00 as requested, We walked to the gondola boarding place, and we finally boarded at about 17:30. The ride was about 30 minutes (less to be precise). It is said "Meet our guide" - we met a guide who just brought us to the boarding point and that was it. No guide during the ride. And the price was like we would have a guided tour.
We were at the meeting point @ 4:45 pm as requested for our 5 pm reserved time, but the organizer showed up only at 5:01 pm. About 25 of us flocked a few blocks to the gondola boarding place and we finally boarded @ 5:25. Three other people were sharing the ride with us and there was a long line after us. I expected that the ride would only be for the two of us as there was no indication in advertising that this was a shared ride. A 30-minute ride was advertised, but we were all done in 20 minutes. The gondolier didn't say a single word to us. All in bad taste treating tourists as at the factory stamping machine with no allure and expected Venice romance. Two stars earned by Venice Canals, otherwise it is 1-star experience.
