Dive into the bowels of Naples, one of the largest and most spectacular subway systems in the world. This tour will lead you to discover a hidden universe beneath the vibrant surface of the city, where history, mystery and millenary architecture intertwine.
We will begin in front of the Basilica of Santa Maria della Pietrasanta, known as the "sacred stone", before descending 30 meters into the depths of the city. There we will explore unique archaeological wonders, such as the ancient Greek and Roman aqueduct that supplied ancient Naples, the monumental subway cistern and the majestic pool of the "Prince", the largest of all the underground structures in Naples.
In addition, we will tour the areas that served as shelters during World War II, a living testimony of the most recent and painful history, which adds an exciting chapter to this journey through time.
This is a journey of almost one kilometer, the most complete to understand the hidden face of Naples, that ancient city full of secrets invisible to the conventional tourist.
