From the meeting point, we take a short walk to the Independence Monument, a striking sculpture that marks Uganda’s emergence from colonial rule in 1962.

Continuing onward, we enter one of Kampala’s busiest marketplaces.

Then we approach a revered architectural landmark up on Old Kampala Hill, an expansive place of worship known by many, with deep significance to those who come here.

To close the tour with local artistry, we walk to a vibrant stretch of craft centre, African Craft Village. Here you will see an inspiring array of Ugandan creativity, hand-woven baskets, carved sculptures, beads, and more, all made by local artisans.
