Excursion to Rotterdam & The Hague
Panoramica del tour
We will start by going to the city of The Hague, the most elegant city in the Netherlands, where the President of the Government and the kings reside. We will know, therefore, the "Palais Noordeinde", work center of the King and Queen and the "Binnenhof", a set of buildings among which the Dutch Parliament stands out and we will finish at the Peace Palace, headquarters of the International Court of Justice.
Still surprises by The Hague, we will go to Rotterdam, which is world-renowned for its innovative architecture.
Once in the city center, we will visit "The man without heart", an expressive and imposing sculpture, symbol par excellence of the desire to overcome the Roterdameses and we will start a walking tour, stopping at emblematic places like the Church of San Lorenzo, The city's only medieval building, the famous Cube Houses, the Oude Haven or Old Port and the iconic Markthal. After a pleasant walk, we will make a panoramic visit along the banks of the river Meuse in which you will discover the profile of the city, where colossal skyscrapers and bridges stand out like that of Erasmus, with its 802 meters long, or towers like the Euromast, with its 185 meters high.

Ci siamo presentati al punto di incontro (Aloha bowling) in orario, ma l'autobus non si è presentato. Siamo rimasti a piedi insieme a molte altre persone. Dopo molte insistenze e senza riuscire a contattare nessuno dei responsabili, ci hanno detto che erano dispiaciuti per il malinteso e che l'autobus era partito da un'altra parte. È molto triste che vi facciano questo perché abbiamo perso la giornata che avevamo programmato per questa escursione. Inoltre, nessuno si fa vedere. Avevo prenotato un'altra escursione e l'ho cancellata. Molto male.
Abbiamo trascorso una giornata fantastica all'Aia e a Deltf. Ana è un'ottima guida e molto preparata sui Paesi Bassi.
La guida era attenta e le storie interessanti. Per me è stato più utile se la grande pausa era all'Aia (per avere il tempo di entrare nel Palazzo Reale o fare una passeggiata in città) che a Rotterdam (perché non ci sono molte cose interessanti da vedere a Rotterdam).

Si passa più tempo in pullman che a visitare le città. Dovrebbe essere un tour più lungo. La nostra guida, Edu, era molto brava. La cosa peggiore è stato lo spiacevole incidente che abbiamo avuto sul pullman con una coppia molto maleducata. Hanno rovinato il tour per me e mia figlia.
