Hi, I’m Daniel. I was born and raised in Mexico City, and I’ll be your local host. I’m fluent in English and design well-organized small-group tours for travelers who want to truly understand the city, not just see highlights.
With a business background, I focus on clear pacing, smart routes, and a relaxed experience, so you never feel rushed. This tour begins with a walk through Coyoacán’s main square and gardens, where you visit the Church of St. John the Baptist from 1570 AD. We continue to San Jacinto Plaza in San Ángel to explore its charming square, shops, and restaurants. On Saturdays, enjoy the outdoor art market.
On the way to the Cuicuilco pyramid, we cross University City (UNAM), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, 1 hour visit to The Anahuacalli Museum which preserves Diego Rivera's vision: pre-Hispanic art, volcanic architecture, and a living space for creation and encounter. The visit ends with a peaceful one-hour private boat ride along the Cuemanco canals, recalling ancient Mexico City.

It’s so great to have someone who knows the city, as Daniel clearly does, figure out how to fit so much into the day. My daughter and I loved this tour! From our start in Condesa, Daniel was gracious, knowledgeable, and efficient. I understand that these sites are less- visited by Mexico City tourists, since they are hard to reach and to move between, but this tour moved seamlessly between its varied locations. I loved loved the boat tour through the Cuemanco canals, seeing the way people lived many years ago, and the Cuicuilco pyramid, surrounded my modern towers and roadways! Daniel knows so much about the city and its history. Highly-recommended tour!
What a great morning! My wife and I had limited time, but were still able to fit in a wonderful tour of the southern part of Mexico City. Our guide, Daniel, was knowledgeable and interesting with a deep understanding of the country and its origins.
