4h tour: Alternatively, instead of these city sights, you may choose to visit the ALZHIR Museum, a former women’s prison from 1937 to 1954, located 25 km outside the city.

2h tour: Another unique option is a local wine tasting experience, which grapes grown in the mountains about 70 km from Almaty.
