Chucherías Chapinas: Food Tour
Panoramica del tour
They say that to get to know a country you have to go straight to the market... And that's what we do! In this tour we go from the modern Zona 4 to the heart of Zona 1, tasting the local delicacies that the locals do eat: shucos, elotes locos, tostadas, chuchitos, rellenitos, atole de elote, ice cream, Guatemalan coffee (one of the best in the world) and more.
We walked through streets full of history, stopping at spots like 4 Grados Norte, the Botanical Garden, Pasaje Rubio, Concordia Park, Plaza de la Constitución, and we closed at the Central Market, where you can continue sightseeing, eat more or buy handicrafts.
We also visited a local restaurant with authentic seasoning. No fancy food here, just real flavor.
We start at 9:30 a.m. and it lasts 3.5 hours.
It's free! You decide how much to leave at the end.

My wife and I had such a fun laid back time walking around the city with Danny and having some bites to eat. Danny is such a good representative of the wonderful Guatemala City. Felt completely safe and at ease.
We waited since early morning, but he never showed up. We contacted him through the app, but he never replied to our message.
I booked several days in advance. I arrived early and messaged the guide that I was waiting. No communications and no showed. I waited 15 min then left. Bad experience.
What an awesome person Danny is, Very Knowledgeable on Guatemala country and its culture. We started off with a City tour where few folks cancelled at last min. He continued with tour showing important spots of Guatemala city. And most important he is good food tour guide as well which is a bonus. The Tour should be 3.5 hrs, but he spend more than 4 hrs. Additionally he gave list of places to visit during the stay. I would definitely recommend him.
time past very quickly with Dan. we had fun and hgood food, a very good way to discover the underrated Guatemala City
