New Town Tour: Prague in the 20th
Century in Italian
Panoramica del tour
On this tour we will examine the obvious traces that the 20th century left in this city. Among the splendid buildings of the New Town, we will discover the history of this young republic, born at the end of World War I and from the rubble of the then Austro-Hungarian Empire. We will talk about how this people managed to rise again after two ruthless dictatorial regimes. The New Town, its squares, monuments and literary cafes will tell us the story of Nazi dictators, communists, writers, intellectuals and all the protagonists of this country's "Short Century."
