Day 1: Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, Kelaat M’Gouna
Start your journey with a drive through Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest mountain pass in Morocco, offering breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains. Your first stop is Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient kasbahs and iconic movie appearances.
Explore this fortified village with a guided tour (optional), then enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant. Continue to Ouarzazate and visit Atlas Film Studios, where famous films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed. Afterward, head to Kelaat M’Gouna, the Valley of Roses, renowned for its stunning landscapes and rose cultivation. Check in to Kasbah Dar Timitar, where you’ll stay the night. Relish a traditional Moroccan dinner at the kasbah, savoring local delicacies.
Day 2: Kelaat M’Gouna, Dades Gorge, Marrakech
After breakfast, travel to Dades Gorge, famous for its dramatic rock formations known as the “Monkey Fingers.” Take in the breathtaking views and explore the gorge's winding roads. Then, return to Marrakech, wrapping up your 2-day adventure through Morocco’s spectacular landscapes and rich history.
