Dive into San Cristóbal de las Casas on an immersive 3-hour cultural and culinary walking tour designed for authentic travelers. We will explore the city from the inside out, connecting local history, street art, and the fascinating evolution of Chiapanecan gastronomy.

We meet at Plaza del Cerrillo to unpack the region's cultural ecosystem. From there, we venture into the bustling local market—a safe, colorful space to discover seasonal fruits and native ingredients like chiles and local herbs. Next, unwind as we walk through El Cerrillo neighborhood, decoding powerful street art murals that reflect community identity and provide great photo opportunities.

The culinary contrast deepens as we visit local kitchens: from ancestral recipes at Kulantu and traditional street food at La Lupe, to avant-garde contemporary cuisine at the renowned Tierra y Cielo. We conclude with a cacao ritual tasting traditional tascalate at Jangala.
