Valletta & St John's co-Cathedral Tour
Aperçu du circuit
Meet your guide at 10.00 in front of the New Parliament Building on Republic Street. Look out for the City Walking Tours Malta red umbrella/sign.
Your fully licensed tour guide will start by giving an introduction to the city's background and then lead you past some of the most typical streets, squares and gardens, highlighting the characteristical features of this remarkable city.
The tour will finish with a guided tour of St John's co-Cathedral, which definitely stands out from the other churches across the island. Apart from its rich baroque interior, stone carving, gilding and inlaid marble tombs, the co-Cathedral also houses the paintings by the famous Caravaggio, including his masterpiece ‘The Beheading of St John the Baptist’. Entrance to St. John's church is not included in the price of the walk, tickets are to be bought at the entrance of the church and cost €15 per person.
This is definitely a must-see while you are in Valletta!

The tour was wonderful! Even in the rain!
Marissa did an excellent job of showing us around La Valletta. Her deep knowledge of city life and history came with a wonderful self-deprecating humour. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
