Aperçu du circuit
Stories, story-tellers, and intriguing characters - both real and fictional - are at the heart of our culture, our identity, and the Irish narrative.
To really know Dublin, you have to know its stories!
On this tour, we visit some lesser-explored parts of the city and share some of our most fascinating mythology, folklore, tales, superstitions, and stories from ancient times right up to the contemporary era, and reveal how they have been used to inspire revolution and rebellion, create a national identity, and shape the Ireland of today.
Led by a fully qualified, accredited, professional local tour guide from the Original Dublin Guide Collective, this insightful and enjoyable tour is unlike any other in the city.

Loved this tour! Deirdre was so knowledgeable and had a lovely sense of humor, which made listening to the stories real fun!
Our first night in Dublin we book this tour and it was amazing! as someone who loves Mythology and folklore this was the perfect tour. Helena was fun and very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. We learnt heaps about Irish history and the resurgence of irish culture and language. Helena also gave us some great recommendations for things to do, eat and drink around the city. I highly recommend this tour even if youre not a nerd for myths, like myself.
This tour was such an interesting overview of Irish folklore & mythology, and how it fits into and is informed by Irish history. Emily was a welcoming, entertaining and knowledgable tour guide. 10/10 reccommend.
Helena is a true storyteller and made a fantastic walking tour. I was very pleased with the experience. Very informative and entertaining. Highly recommended.
We booked the mythology tour at 3pm. When we arrived, the historical tour was about to commence. The very nice tour guide Barry told us that this tour always starts at 5pm. As this did not fit in our day Plan, we attended the history tour (which was nice, although for my wife not too informative due to her knowledge).
