Enjoy a day surrounded by the Bavarian Alps, forests and lakes that make this area a fairytale setting. We will meet at Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) to take the train to Füssen. During the journey you will admire the typical Bavarian landscapes, perfect for pictures and unique moments.
From Füssen, we will take a short transfer to Hohenschwangau, the charming mountain village where King Ludwig II of Bavaria, creator of the castle, grew up. From there, we will start a walk to the surroundings of Neuschwanstein Castle, while our expert guide will tell you about its history, curiosities and secrets surrounding this fortress.
You will have free time to walk around the exterior, take spectacular photos and enjoy the natural surroundings. You can also take a stroll along the Alpsee Lake, surrounded by mountains and forests. We will finish the day returning by train to Munich, with a complete experience of history, culture and incredible landscapes, all in one day.
