On this tour, we’ll explore the history and symbolism of one of the world’s most fascinating churches: the Sagrada Família. We’ll start by discovering its origins, why it’s Antoni Gaudí’s most significant work, and the eternal question: how much longer until this masterpiece is completed?
We’ll admire the Nativity Facade, a burst of life and detail, with its sculptural groups dedicated to the childhood of Christ, filled with flora and fauna and a message of hope. Then we’ll contrast this with the austerity and drama of the Passion Facade, whose angular lines and figures by Josep Maria Subirachs convey the sacrifice and harsh reality of Jesus’s final days.
