Tour dell'arte e dell'architettura ortodossa a Bucarest

A 100% recommendable tour if you want to delve into the history of Orthodox culture. Elena, is very knowledgeable and makes the tour very enjoyable. She explains in detail all the symbols and rites. In addition, she had the courtesy to accompany us to the Cathedral of the Salvation of the People, whose visit was not included. A 10 for her.
As a person brought up in a Catholic culture, Orthodox Christianity is very exotic but before taking the tour I understood neither the rites nor the symbols or motifs behind the main parts of the temples. I wish there was such a tour in other cities
I highly recommend the tour if you are looking to delve into the history and culture of Romania and, in particular, of the region in which Bucharest is located. Without a doubt, Alexandra was a wonderful guide, completely dedicated and admirably trained, ready to illustrate the evolution of the Romanian Orthodox religion through the churches of the city, impressive forms of artistic expression that sustain centuries of faith in Romania. Thanks to her for her patience and dedication.
Alexandra is an exceptional guide and this tour is very interesting for those who love iconoclastic art.
