Mariana is super friendly, personable and knowledgeable. We actually live in Viseu- just moved here a couple of months ago, and wanted to learn more about our new home, which we definitely did. We would highly recommend this tour to tourists or recently arrived residents.

The tour was fantastic, my guide, Mariana, shared extensive knowledge of the city, from it's history, to the best snacking spots in town! We started in the Sé of Viseu, where Mariana thoroughly explained the history of it, from it's building, the many alterations it suffered throughout the years, to the building we know today. After we walked around the historic center, seeing important streets, with many building still maintaining the historic look from when they were built. We also saw some other important historic places, both religious and military, but the best part was in the end when we went to a local artisan chocolate store and we tried some really interesting and unique flavor combinations. In conclusion it was a fantastic tour, with lots to see, and even more to learn about this lovely city. I would like to thank Mariana for the time and knowledge she shared with me that day!

Mariana is a fantastic guide. Full of knowledge, she is happy to share, ranging from the history of Viseu to what and where to eat in town. We (my wife and I) had a lovely tour with Mariana, starting in the cathedral, realising the roots of the architecture woven into the stories of its past, the intrigues and the role Viseu played in Portugal's history, then to the market, to Rossio, and to a surprise encounter with a top-class chocolate artisan shop. All in all, a fantastic few hours, with lots of new knowledge about this beautiful town.
