This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played through the 17th-century streets of Leiden. You will explore 10 different locations while following the story of Rembrandt van Rijn through the streets of Leiden, searching for a young painter's rise in a competitive art scene. At each location, you'll solve a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on monuments, graffiti, and facades. It stays around the old town, mixing real history with neighborhood myths only locals share. Perfect for art lovers, history enthusiasts and curious travelers.

Starting from Molen De Put, the stops are spaced an average of around 300m apart, with each location taking around 12 min to complete. The route also passes through Indië-monument, De jonge Rembrandt and Hartebrugkerk. At each location, you'll solve a challenge and receive instructions for the next chapter.
