Experience one of the world’s great wildernesses, the Thar Desert, along with a Jaisalmer sightseeing tour. Pick-up will be at 9:00 AM from your designated hotel in Jaisalmer, followed by visits to the city’s most popular attractions. Explore Jaisalmer Fort, the Jain Temple inside the fort, Patwon Ki Haveli, and Gadisagar Lake. Enjoy a lunch break in between. Later, drive to the Thar Desert and enjoy a desert safari with a beautiful sunset.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Jaisalmer - Kuldhara Village - Thar Desert - Jaisalmer
- Start the tour at 9:00 AM from your hotel in Jaisalmer in an AC car and begin the Jaisalmer sightseeing tour. Visit Jaisalmer Fort, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Patwon Ki Haveli, and Gadisagar Lake.
- Lunch at a restaurant of your choice.
- Around 3:00 PM, drive to the Thar Desert (Sam Sand Dunes).
- On the way to the dunes, visit the haunted Kuldhara Village.
- Receive a warm welcome from our friendly guides.
- Enjoy a safari ride of about 15 to 30 minutes into the desert.
- Witness a mesmerizing and beautiful sunset on the dunes.
- Depart from the desert at 7:00 PM and return to Jaisalmer by car.
- Arrive back in Jaisalmer around 8:00 PM the same day.
