Everything was excellent and the content was wonderful, the only downside was that they charged a mandatory tip. The essence of a Free Walking Tour is that you can take a walk and make a voluntary contribution, but in this case, the guide charged us a minimum amount per person, which turned the experience into a $20 tour.
My first Freetour. There’s lots to see; I’d have missed most of it without a guide. Derek is great, knows exactly where to look, points his tripod-mounted telescope so you have a clear close-up view, takes pics/videos and AirDrops to you at the end of the tour. Lively banter in English (and Spanish).
