The visit to Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, will reveal secrets and its evolution over the centuries. Afterward, there will be a short break before the visit to the Real Alcazar of Seville, the oldest Royal Palace in Europe. We will visit the old Palace of King Don Pedro, the Palace of Plaster, the House of the Wizard, the House of Contracting, the Gothic Palaces, and, of course, the gardens of the Royal Alcazar, where we will finish the guided tour. We had a wonderful time; the guide was excellent. Professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic. He really made it fun for us.
The guide Anafer, you can tell she knows very little about what she is telling. There is a lack of depth of general historical knowledge. Without being religious myself, I found it a little too much that she spent a lot of time criticizing the Catholic Church and telling about the "evils" of capitalism. I would have preferred a guide who really introduces you to the historical and social context.
Julian, thank you for making the tour so entertaining and even more so after so much information and walking. If we come back we will repeat with you.
