This creative walking tour takes place a little bit higher than usually, from the top of emblematic buildings where you can look over the skyline of Seville to enjoy its parks and streets below. Starting at Plaza Nueva by City Hall, you will wander into the old city center to see the renowned cathedral, then Marvel at the Giralda which is a former Arabic minaret that was converted to the cathedral's bell tower. The tour includes the old city walls, Alcázar, the exquisite royal palace and former Moorish fort. Then top it off by walking down medieval alleys to the old Jewish quarter of Santa Cruz, and gaze upon the bell towers of more than 100 churches. Carolos was wonderful. He went above and beyond taking us around his city. His passion and pride for Sevilla showed tremendously in his descriptions of landmarks and monuments. The tour was very organized but Carlos also stopped to allow us to view a parade, have a drink at one of the rooftop bars, or just pause to take photos. He also took some great shots of us and sent them to us immediately. The tour was supposed to last 2 hours but since there were only two of us on the tour, Carlos took us around for an extra 90 minutes and bought us a glass of wine at a local "hole in the wall." He was professional, friendly, and welcoming. The tour with Carlos was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Spain.
