My name is Gabriel, and with your permission, I will guide you through the streets of my hometown, Sighișoara.
I invite you to walk with me through the streets of the medieval fortress of Sighișoara, a former Saxon city of craftsmen and merchants, located in the heart of a land full of legends and steeped in traditions. Nearly eight centuries ago, Saxon and Hungarian settlements were established in Transylvania.
The tour will begin in front of the Gasthaus Altepost Hotel. From there, we will follow the road within the city walls, where we will see the most important landmarks: the iconic Clock Tower, the Monastery Church, the Citadel's main square, the Venetian House, and the House with a Stag. We will then walk up the covered stairs to the School and the Church on the Hill, where we’ll enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city. From here, we’ll descend through the Evangelical Cemetery, finishing the route in front of the City Hall.

Très belle visite guidée de la vieille ville de Sighişoara
Gabriel était un guide exceptionnel : sympathique, extrêmement cultivé, et doté d’un talent certain pour choisir les lieux, les événements et les personnes qui permettent de retracer la longue histoire de cette magnifique ville classée au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO. Nous avons adoré notre visite et avons beaucoup appris sur tous les aspects de l’histoire de cette région, depuis ses premières colonies jusqu’à nos jours, en passant par la période communiste. Gabriel est originaire de Sighisoara et son amour pour cette ville est palpable. Il nous a également donné des conseils sur les endroits où dîner et sur les plats et boissons traditionnels à goûter.
La visite était super. Gabriel connaît très bien Sighișoara et l'histoire de la Roumanie. Merci de nous avoir fait partager tes connaissances !
