When we eventually found the guide, she took us into the amazing baroque building. We arrived ten minutes before the tour and could not see the guide. The red umbrella was not showing! Another couple had the same problem. Anyway, it was so worth it. Stunning decor and explanations. Would highly recommend.
The tour was perfectly organized and, in a short amount of time, provided a wealth of historical knowledge about the university and its intellectual and historical context. An exhibition on campus and the climb up the tower were a worthwhile addition to this informative, if somewhat impersonal, tour. Highly recommended, if only for the Aula and the Oratorium Marianum.
It was interesting and worth every penny.
