Venice Tour: St. Mark's Square and Historic
Center
Tour-Übersicht
At the appointed time, we’ll meet at CAMPO SAN ZACCARIA, where we’ll begin our tour of central Venice. Are you ready to explore one of the most captivating cities in the world?
The first place we’ll explore is St. Mark’s Square, the nerve center of the city and the epicenter of political, religious, and judicial power in the Most Serene Republic of Venice throughout the centuries.
In this iconic square, we’ll explore the landmarks that make it unique, starting with St. Mark’s Basilica—an architectural gem featuring Byzantine-style design and golden mosaics—and its elegant bell tower. Next to this basilica stands the Doge’s Palace, an imposing structure that once housed the seat of the Venetian government and has now been converted into a museum.
We’ll also pass by the famous Bridge of Sighs, which will captivate you with its romantic charm and the legend associated with its name.
Our next stop will be the Rialto Bridge, one of Venice’s oldest and most iconic bridges, which spans the Grand Canal and offers breathtaking views.
Venice awaits you!
