Tour-Übersicht
The tour starts at 8:00 a.m.: the guide picks you up from the hotel (within Chengdu’s 2nd Ring). Take a comfortable vehicle to Panda Base (1 hr drive, city edge). Explore 2-2.5hrs, see 170+ pandas (newborns to 1.5 m adults). Watch cubs play, soak or climb. 2:00 p.m.: Drive 2.5 hrs via highway to Leshan Giant Buddha. Short lunch stop, then visit the world’s largest sitting Buddha (71m, cliff-carved). If possible, the guide shows its head/feet. Visit Lingyun Temple for Buddhist culture. After 2hrs, return to Chengdu. The tour ends near Tianfu Square (depends on traffic).
