Uncover secrets, myths and stories about the 3 waves of German immigration that arrived to Bariloche. This will cover from the time of Bariloche foundation all the way through the latest immigration after the 2nd world war. We will discuss Nazi presence in Argentina & Bariloche, some myths, and the role, of the Argentinean government. We will pass by 4 main historical sites: the foundation site, the Bariloche Andean Club, the German School and the German neighborhood. We will walk through downtown for 1 hour & 30minutes tour.

Diego gave us a wonderful insight into the 3 waves of German immigration to the Bariloche area. A very informative, well delivered tour. Highly recommended.
The tour was well organized and the guide Diego did very well. His English was perfect and we understood everything. Some recommendations for improvement: - print the pictures that you show during the tour on a bigger format. It is hard to see what’s on there due to the large group. - make the groups somewhat smaller so everybody can hear the guide better. On most points the traffic was very noisy and you couldn’t hear Diego if you stood last row. - the tour is quite expensive for 1,5 hour of information. Is it really necessary?

Diego is a fantastic Guide and gave us helpful insights to understand the history of german immigration in Bariloche devided in 3 immigration waves. We saw the historical places of the german Immigrants and the Story behind it. Diego managed to bring the massiv Numbers of informations and historical details in an fantastic Story. The only negative Point was, the group was to big.
Somewhat pricey but very interesting. The guide was excellent and knew his subject matter in depth. I would recommend the tour to those history buffs out there.
