Description

Standing on our front steps in Niagara Falls, NY, you are looking directly across the Niagara Gorge at the hip modern Vegas style sky line of Niagara Falls, Ontario (walk there if you wish). You're listening to the roar of the most powerful waterfall on earth less than 1KM away. You can head away from that immerse yourself in hiking trails above and below the Gorge cliff see Class VI rapids and a monstrous whirlpool or sit still on the steps at dusk and hope to see a fox, raccoon, osprey, owl, and even deer wondering the short distance between us and the Niagara Gorge.

Modernizing a 140 year old building is no easy task and we're not done yet but we get closer every day. Our spacious six bed dorms each have their own bathrooms two lockers to each guest and a real thick mattress. While there are plenty of restaurants nearby we have a fully equipped kitchen for you to use as well. So much to see and do from Gorge View.

Directions

We are 1 mile directly south of the Niagara Falls Train Station. Just take Whirlpool Street south, at Cedar Ave, Whirlpool changes names to 3rd Street and we're just half a block from there, if you pass the aquarium you passed us as we are on the opposite side of the street just before it. From the Buffalo Airport take the 204 to the Buffalo Transportation Center and the 40A to Niagara Falls, exit the bus at the corner of Main and 3rd Street and ask the drive the direction to the Aquarium, it's a block away and we are just past it on the other side of the road. If your driving yourself, using an uber or taxi just tell them to take you just past the aquarium of Niagara on 3rd Street (723 3rd Street to be exact).

Policies

You must cancel at least three days before the day of arrival. If you book within this window your booking will be charged and is non-refundable. Any no show will be cancelled and charged for their entire booking. Any cancellation within 3 days of the day of arrival will be charged for any portion falling within the next 4 days from time of cancellation.

Gorge View has limited check in hours from 3pm to 7pm if you are arriving after 7pm you must coordinate that in advance and pay an additional fee up to $20. Under no circumstances will we facilitate check-ins after midnight. Failure to coordinate results in being declared a no show with cancellation penalties. Children are welcome private rooms, children between 12 and 18 with parents are welcome in dorms.
