Description

Shantihome is situated in Alsancak, a lively area with numerous cafes, bars and restaurants, and near the Kordon seaside promenade. We are easy to access from the airport, and it is also possible to catch a ferry from close to the hostel to other parts of Izmir.

If you are intending to visit Efes, Bergama or Foca, it is possible to do these as a day trip from izmir.

*Wi-fi free in all the building.

We have shared bathrooms and shared kitchen and a colourful, social common room. We are happy to provide information and maps on İzmir and attractions nearby, as well as of course limitless çay.

Directions

Just in front of the airport there is the metro called İzban(İzmir railways)... Take the metro to *Alsancak station*. It will take 23 minutes... When you go out of Alsancak train station, on the left side, across the street, on the corner of the street there is a green color bank *Garanti Bank*... Enter the street of the bank, then turn the third left and second right... Then after walking for 50 meters or so, our hostel in on the right. It is a 3 floor purple building with white bars. There is a small parking place on the right of the building.. (Walking from the station to here is approximately 5 minutes.)
This is the easiest way... :)

**From Otogar, take the free services to Basmane, and from there taxi which will not cost more then 20tl is the easiest way to here...

Policies

In case of cancellation, please cancel your reservation by calling us, or write us an email at least 1 day before your arrival. Otherwise we may charge you for the booking.

***We have no lockers because we choose not to have any. We would like a place with trust. From our experience, a place with lockers doesn't give a more secure atmosphere, on the contrary creates a feeling of stealing and gives an unnatural value to things.
***But of course if there is really something that you would like to 'keep safe', please give to Shantihome staff, and so we'll keep it for you. Thank you.
