Directions

From the Airport: for your own safety and comfort we recommend to book a taxi with us for 60 soles (US$18). The taxi driver will wait for you outside the luggage pick up zone carrying a board with your name on it. Could take from 30 to 50 minutes depending of traffic. If you are travelling light, want to save some money, and don’t mind a little bit of adventure, you can take a “kombi” (small bus) right outside the airport. Just have to look for the one that shows an “S” sign on the front and tell the collector to drop you off at the 1st Block of Benavides Avenue. If you follow these instructions you will be on Porta Street (our street), walk towards the sea (right side in regard to the “kombi”) and 2 and a half blocks ahead you will find us.
From the Bus Station: we recommend to take a taxi for 20 soles (US$ 6), if you come from Javier Prado´s Bus Terminal, or for 60 soles (US$18), if you come from Plaza Norte´s Bus Terminal. It is also possible to arrive taking the Lima´s Metropolitano Bus (between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.) in Via Expresa (from Javier Prado´s Bus Terminal or any other bus station in La Victoria) or at “Tomás Valle”-station in Tupac Amaru Avenue (from Plaza Norte´s Bus Terminal). Take lines “B” or “C” in south direction. Get off at “Av. 28 de Julio”-stop (Miraflores) and take your right hand as you exit the station, walk ahead around 8 blocks until you get Porta Street, turn left and look for KACLLA, The Healing Dog Hostel, at the left side of the street.

Policies

We require a 48-hour notice for any changes to, or cancellation of your reservation. Failure to inform us in a timely manner will result in a charge for the full amount of the first night of your reservation. If for any reason you are not able to communicate us the cancellation or modification with due anticipation, we suggest to inform us as soon as possible so we can put on sale the beds or rooms you reserved. If, finally, we get to sell them, we won´t charge the cancellation fees.

Rates do not include Peruvian Sales Tax (I.G.V.) of 18 %. Foreigners with a valid “Tarjeta Andina de Migración” are exempt (we can get it online at your arrival). All others, i.e., Peruvians and foreigners residing in Peru will be charged an additional 18 %.
Children and under 18 years old are not allowed to stay in shared dormitories.
