Directions

We are located just off of Carretera Masaya, 1 block south of the MetroCentro Shopping Center. From the old location of the Bar 'Chaman', we are half a block south.

Taxi drivers will know our location based upon the following address: Colonial Los Robles, Donde Fue Bar Chaman, 75 Metros al Sur, Casa #56

The hostel is located approximately 30 mins. by car from Managua's international airport (Augusto C. Sandino International Airport). Transfers by taxi cost approximately $20. We also offer an airport shuttle service which can be booked in advance through the hostel via email to contact@managuahostel.com. Cost is $15 for one-way transport for one person and $20 for two persons and $10 for each additional person.

Managua does not have a central bus terminal, but the hostel is closely located to all major transportation points. UCA is a popular disembarkation point especially for travelers coming from Granada/Masaya, which is only 5 10 minutes by taxi from the hostel ($1-$2 US per person or 30-50 Cordobas) or 20 minutes walking. You can either ask the driver to let you off directly at the hostel or get off in front of the MetroCentro Shopping Center and Hotel Intercontinental and from there it is only a 5 minute walk to get here.

The TICA bus station is about 15 minutes by taxi from the hostel ($2-$3 US per person or 48-72 Cordobas).

As a rule most locations within Managua cost $2-$3 per person in a taxi to get to unless they are very far.

Policies

• In order to receive a full refund of your advance payment for the shuttle service or room reservation, we require a minimum of 24 hours advance notice.
• In the event of a 'no-show', the customer will be charged the amount of the first night of the reservation and the remaining nights (if any) will be cancelled

-Valid passport must be provided upon arrival
-No pets are permitted
-Payment is due upon arrival at the hostel.
-Credit cards are accepted
-Smoking is not permitted within the hostel
