MEC Hostel is housed in original georgian renovated buildings in the heart of the old city. The buildings and setting add a lot of character to the hostel and are perfect for hostel use with large lounges including music reception and games lounges on the lower floor and large kitchen diner and breakfast rooms. We have a lovely garden terrace at the Rear. The spacious range of ensuite rooms and dorm rooms on the floors above with lockers and Free WIFI throughout. MEC Hostel is only 10 minutes walk from the Spire on O'Connell street, Dublins Main thoroughfare. On the same street is the James Joyce centre, only 15 minutes walk from Templebar dublins nightlife centre.

Policies

Guests can cancel reservations without charge upto 24 hours before the arrival date.
Should the guest fail to cancel and not show for the booking on the arrival date, they will be charged for the cost of the first nights accommodation.

Guests will be required to produce photo ID on arriial (passport or driving licence)
guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Group bookings will be requested to pay a security deposit which will be returned on departure.
