Description

Location: The location and the public transportation are excellent. We are located in the heart of the city. Just a 2 minute walk from the yellow line metro station at Oktogon, near to the international railway stations (Keleti railway station - 10 minutes, Nyugati railway station - 5 minutes). There are a lot of entertainment facilities in our neighborhood. Pubs, clubs, restaurants, cinemas, theatres and shops are near at hand!
Torusit attractions nearby: Parliament, St Stephen's Basilica, Madách Theatre, Andrassy street, Heroes Square, Hungarian National Museum, Art Gallery, Museum of Fine Arts, Mucsarnok Exhibition Hall, Hungarian National State Opera House, House of Terror, Hungarian National Museum, Dohany Street Synagogue, Vaci utca, Szechenyi Medicinal Bath, Rudas Medicinal Bath, Gellert Medicinal Bath. West end City Centre, and Arena Plaza Mall, which are the biggest shopping centres in Hungary.

I don't recommend this hostel. Some of the local people leave there in the hostel. Asking for money and taking the food from others. Cleaning is fine , reception is ok. Never stay in this hostel...

Stayed for 5 nights with a friend in the Mixed dorm for the New Years. Found the hostel fairly clean (not impeccable but not disgusting) and the structure was good; there are extra showers outside...

A really nice place. The kitchen was the highlight for me. It had complimentary coffee and a nice balcony overlooking the Main Street. The young guy working behind the desk was an absolute pleasure...

Directions

The public transport system is really good so that you can easily find everything near at hand. The nearest Metro stop is Oktogon metro stop, and the nearest 24 hour tram stop is Oktogon tram stop also.
You can find the hostel on the famous world heritage street Andrassy street 53 . The ring code is 22.

Coming from

Keleti Railway Station: Take the red line metro (M2) toward Deli pu. and travel to Deak Ferencvsquare (3 stops). From there take the yellow line metro(M1) toward Mexikoi ut and travel to Oktogon (3stops). Our gate is the second gate from the TGI Fridays Restaurant.

The airport: (it is about 40 - 50 minutes)

Take the airport bus (Repter Bus Nr 200) which takes you to Kobanya Kispest metro station, then switch to the blue metro (M3) for 10 stops to Deak Ferenc square. From there take the yellow line metro (M1) toward Mexikoi ut and travel to Oktogon (3stops).Our gate is the second gate from the TGI Fridays Restaurant.

Nyugati Railway Station: Take the number 4 or 6 tram till Oktogon(1 stop).Our gate is the second gate from the TGI Fridays Restaurant.

Deli Railway Station: Take the red line metro (M2) toward Ors Vezer square and travel to Deak Ferenc square (4th stops). From there take the yellow line metro (M1) toward Mexikoi ut and travel to Oktogon (3stops). Our gate is the second gate from the TGI Fridays Restaurant.
