Description

As much as the sailor is shouting “Land!” after a long sea-crossing, the traveller is shouting “bed” after a long day of hiking and visiting, filling his senses with the beauty of the world. There is no secret of how to make a perfect hostel: convenient areas, smiling faces and an emphasis on cleanliness and guest service. Then, there is this little something brought from different places all around the world. A little something hard to define, but which you can feel as soon as you enter the place, a vibrant sense of peace and where everything is being taken care of for a nice stay.

Directions

From Edinburgh
By public Transport:
There are direct bus connections from Edinburgh.
You can also alternatively aim for a change in St Andrews. To plan your trip, check travelinescotland for up to date travel information.
You can also reach Anstruther from North Berwick with seafari which can actually save you some time and give you a taste of adventure.

By Car
You would basically follow the A90, then A92 and A915 following the road sign to Anstruther/East Neuk.

From St Andrews
By public Transport:
There are 2 bus services X60 (about 20 minutes ride) and 95 (about 40 minutes ride)

By Car:
Driving south on the B9131, 18 minutes drive.

Policies

Reservations may be cancelled without charge provided the Customer gives at least 48 Hours notice of the same prior to the check-in time for their reservation. Failure to provide the required notice of cancellation shall result in the Customer being charged for one night’s accommodation at the Rate specified in their reservation. Any such payment shall be taken immediately using the payment details provided by the Customer when making their reservation.
Failure to provide the required notice of cancellation shall result in your subsequent nights, if any, being cancelled. So if you are delayed getting to us please call and we can try to amend your booking (subject to availability).

Please note that guests who wish to bring children less than 16 years of age must book whole dorms or private rooms.
Bookings cannot be accepted from any underage person unless they are accompanied by an adult over 18. They will be refused check-in.
Note that all our dorms are mixed.
When booking dorm beds in dorm rooms, we cannot guarantee that you will all be staying in the same room.
We suggest booking private rooms if you don’t want to be separated.
Passport, driver’s license or government issued identity card required upon check-in.
Check-in: from 2pm. If you arrive before 2pm you’re welcome to leave your luggage in our luggage room. Check-out: 10am.
