Puig de Randa

Description

On the Randa mountain at the high of 548 meters above sea level is the religious hostel of the monastery Sanctuari de Cura. It is a unique place from where you can see more than 30 municipalities of Mallorca, the islands Cabrera and Ibiza. It’s the authentic viewpoint of Mallorca. It is also closely related to the culture and history of Mallorca, it was the mountain Randa where Ramón Llull, the most universal Mallorcan, foresaw his future. The Santuari de Cura is a pilgrimage to the Virgin of Cura. The Sanctuary of Cura offers a holiday or retreat, ideal for rest and relaxation in a unique environment on the island of Mallorca.

Directions

From the airport:
We are going to the motorway MA19 to Llucmajor and turn off at exit 22. Once we find the first roundabout going direction to Llucmajor, also in the second roundabout. Arriving to Llucmajor, you see the third roundabout, from which we always following the direction to Algaida.

In the road from Llucmajor to Algaida we find a junction to the village of Randa on the right, which we will use. Finally, we cross this little town to climb the Puig de Randa, which consists of a 5 km until we arrive at the mountain top.
