La Flor de Gaudí La Pedrera islocated in residential modernista block right in the center of Barcelona in Dreta de l'Eixample. We are just a few minutes away from La Pedrera, the famous Gaudí building on fashionable Passeig de Gracia and only 5 minutes away from Gracia, a bohemian neighborhood popular with artists and musicians

Our hostel is a great place for travelers looking to get a taste of how the locals live in Barcelona. And we should know. We grew up here. When you stay with us, it's like staying in our home. And even though it has a grand entrance hall and intricate mosaic tiled flooring (more formal elements of early 20th Century Catalan interior design), our apartment is very relaxed and informal.

As locals, we enjoy providing recommendations on the best our city has to offer, especially when it comes to Barcelona's history and culture for which we have great passion. And since we are naturally curious people, we can share insider tips on a wide range of things that cater to your unique interests, both on and off the beaten path...and show you the best way to get there.

Since we love spending time with our guests, we have free activities every week including a walking tour of the Gothic quarter, Catalan cooking lessons, an excursion to a nearby flamenco show and many other activities that change depending on what interesting things are going on in our majestic city that week.

“Best all around hostel for me”

I stay at a lot of hostels and for me this is my favorite place to stay. Not all rooms are created equal here. I have tried a few of the configurations over the years and I find the 12 bed in room 14...

“BROKEN TOILET.”

WE BOUGHT IT BECAUSE THE ROOM HAD A PRIVATE TOILET, BUT IT WAS NOT WORKING. THEY DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO FIX IT OR COMPENSATE. WE HAD TO USE THE SHARED TOILET.

I stayed with my two sons as we were en-route to Bilbao for the cup final. We ere only here for one night as we had a train to catch the next morning. However, I would highly recommend this hostel...

Directions

From Barcelona airport (el Prat)

Bus

Take the 'AeroBus' to PlaçaCatalunya. From there, take the green line Metro (L3) to Passeig de Gracia Station and we’re only a 5 minute walk away.

Walk down Passeig de Gracia for 3 blocks (in the direction of Avenue Diagonal) and turn left onto CarrerProvenca. Walk for a block and a half and you’ll find us on the right hand side at 318 Carrer de Provenca. You’ll see our doorbell at the front of the building.

Train

You can also take the train from the airport (T2). Hop off at Passeig de Gracia station. From there, we’re only a 5 minute walk away.

Walk down Passeig de Gracia for 3 blocks (in the direction of Avenue Diagonal) and turn left onto CarrerProvenca. Walk for a block and a half and you’ll find us on the right hand side at 318 Carrer de Provenca. You’ll see our doorbell at the front of the building.

From Girona Airpoirt

Girona airport is about 1 hour's drive from Barcelona. You can catch the ‘Barcelona Bus’ which goes directly to Barcelona and stops in Estacio d'Autobusos Barcelona Nord (Bus Station). From there, you can take the Red line Metro (L1) to PlaçaCatalunya, where you will need to transfer to the Green line Metro (L3), taking it to the Passeig de Gracia Station. We’re only a 5 minute walk away from there.
