Welcome, traveller! We opened in Berlin way back in 1998 and we are proud to have maintained some of the original East Berlin style and the spirit of the wild '90s!
We've got free Wi-Fi, hot showers, a great fully-equipped kitchen, bed linen, lockers and city maps! Start your evenings off right at happy hour Bar from 4pm to 6pm, where all beers are only €1...
Most importantly, we believe that a good hostel - at least our idea of a good one - depends on good staff, good guests and tons of fun. This is what we aim for. We're located in the interesting and creative Friedrichshain area of Berlin.
Please note - we have a 3 day cancellation policy if a booking is cancelled after this time you will be liable to pay a cancellation fee equivalent to one night's stay.

I stayed one night at the hostel and it was perfect, clean room, very clean toilets and showers and also they have breakfast (4Euros) with bread, cereals, coffee/tea... good option if you are looking...

i stayed room with 21 beds but there was only 3 people stayin there at that time. they have good breakfest and great bar. the staff is nice and helpfull. it is near club call matrix. metro is realy...

I visited this hostel every summer for three consecutive years (2009-2011). Things may have changed since but I doubt it. Excellent evening atmosphere with a cheap drinks and an interesting variety...

Directions

by train:
from HAUPTBAHNHOF: take any S-Bahn eastbound to ALEXANDERPLATZ, change to the underground line U5. Take 4 stops to FRANKFURTER TOR. Exit the station onto Warschauer Strasse and walk until you reach Grünberger Strasse. Turn right, we're at No. 23 on the righthand side. Alternatively, take any S-Bahn eastbound to OSTBAHNHOF. At the front of the station, catch Bus 240 in the direction 'Storkower Str'. Get off the bus at GRÜNBERGER STRASSE (the 4th stop). Then cross the street to get to the hostel.

by plane:
from SCHÖNEFELD: take the S-Bahn S9 to FRANKFURTER ALLEE (8 stops) then change to the U-bahn U5 (direction Alexanderplatz) to FRANKFURTER TOR (2 stops). Exit the station onto Warschauer Strasse and walk until you reach Grünberger Strasse. Turn right, we're at No. 23 on the righthand side. If the S-Bahn is not running, take the RE14 train to ALEXANDERPLATZ. Change to the U5 and travel 4 stops to FRANKFURTER TOR. Exit the station onto Warschauer Strasse and walk until you reach Grünberger Strasse. Turn right, we're at No. 23 on the righthand side.
from TEGEL: the TXL Express Bus takes you to ALEXANDERPLATZ. From there U5 four stops to FRANKFURTER TOR. Exit the station onto Warschauer Strasse and walk until you reach Grünberger Strasse. Turn right and we're at No. 23 on the righthand side.

In case of credit card problems you will receive a payment link from the Hostel via email. Payment is expected upon receive of the payment link.

New Year Eve's Cancellation Policy:
Please note - a cancellation of your booking up to 14 days before arrival will lead to a cancellation charge of the first night. Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge of 50% of your stay.
Payment must be made at the time of booking.
