Rating: 1 Reviewed on January 01, 2019

I’ll say it in a short sentence. I had to get somewhere else to stay. My bed was broken, someone was on my sister’s bed (bed previously reserved) and the receptionist couldn’t communicate with us to...

“"Stargate" at the heart of Prague”

Rating: 4 Reviewed on November 27, 2017

Sympathetic speaking Russian staff, great location, right in the city centre, so easy to find. All those turistic things are humming, it will take you about 10-15 munits to go to the Hrad on foot...

“Not bad but”

Rating: 3 Reviewed on November 02, 2017

Location is fine but, the kitchen is really smells bad. Even now, I feel that smell in my nose.. Beds and the linens are good enough. There's locked closets in the rooms. Toilets are clean enough too.

Directions

How to get to our hostel?
From:
• Letiste Ruzyne (Prague Airport):
a) use the bus number 119 from the Airport to Dejvicka stop. Take the green Metro line from Dejvicka to Malostranska Stop. Use tram 1, 20, 22 from Malostranska stop for one stop to Malostranske Namesti. Remember to buy the ticket for 90minutes - CZK32
b) use private transportation company: 1-4passengers will pay CZK500 – we can book for you.
c) use taxi – unlikely recommended
• Hlavni nadrazi (Main Train Station): take the Tram number 9 going to Ujezd. Change for the Tram number 12 or 20 going from Ujezd to Malostranske Namesti. Remember to buy the ticket for 30minutes-24CZK
• Florenc (Bus Station): take the Yellow Metro line from Florenc to Mustek Stop. Change for Green Metro line from Mustek to Malostranska Stop. Use tram number 12, 20, 22 from Malostranska to Malostranske Namesti. Remember to buy the ticket for 30minutes-24CZK

Recommendations:
1/ Using any public transportation please remember to buy and use transport ticket (32CZK-90mins, 24CZK-30mins, 110CZK-1day)
2/ Do not get the taxi from the street. Always book by phone, this is the only way they can be controlled and work correctly. Airport taxis are much more expensive than usual.
3/ Do not change your money at the airport/ train station/ around Wenceslas Square (main square of Prague). The currency exchange rate is not fair. Rather withdraw your cash from ATM or pay by card.
