During more than 20 years of life here we created a bi-cultural, bilingual, family-oriented company as colorful as the tropical land which nurtures us. Living and developing in the wild tropical frontier has been a constant adventure. The plants, animals and culture are so extraordinary we want everyone to experience them, so we decided to share our tropical paradise with you!

We’ve developed the properties to be the kind of getaways that fit our personal tastes, which are in short "down to earth" with a strong emphasis on "outdoor living in harmony with nature". These tastes have resulted in a collection of radically unique escapes which embody the local flora, fauna and culture of our tropics. So you’ll find on each of the properties abundant wildlife that shares the land with all visitors.

If you haven’t guessed, our idea of tropical luxury is being surrounded by plants and animals. We don't much believe in the commercial definition of luxury. Marble counter-tops or gold faucets are a far cry from hummingbirds, monkeys, scarlet macaws, toucans and iguanas saying hello every morning. Don't misunderstand us, we enjoy nice modern counter-tops - we’ve built-in a certain level of commercial luxury on some of the properties - we just believe that man-made things are secondary to the true luxury of the tropics, namely it’s flora and fauna.

Directions

The entrance to La Chosa del Manglar is located 450 meters south east of the bus stop and 150 meters west of the air field on the south side of Airport West Road. La Chosa is completely hidden behind a large green wall of plants on the south side of airport road. If you ask anyone downtown for directions to the airport you will pas by La Chosa. Just walk south east and you will arrive. The pin is incorrect, Zoom in and you will see us on the map a little further right of the pin placement.

Policies

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.

Reservation Policy: To confirm a reservation the following information is required at time of reservation. We will not charge your card at this time but we do authorize the card for your first nights stay.

* Full name and address of the guest
* Arrival and departure dates
* Full name of the person making the reservation
* Exact number of guests and type of room required
* Guests must be at least 18 years to complete a reservation request.
* A valid credit card


Deposit Policy: 100 percent of the first night MAY be charged 14 days prior to guest arrival.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.

Check-in and Check-out Policy: Check-in is 2 pm. Check-out is 11 am.

Government Taxes: Applicable government taxes must be paid. They will be included at time of billing.

Credit Card Policy: Visa, MasterCard and American Express can guarantee a reservation. Visa, MasterCard American Express & cash are accepted at the hotel.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. One child under 4 years stays free of charge when using existing beds. There is no capacity for extra beds in the rooms.

Internet: WIFi is available in the hotel common areas & most rooms. It is free of charge. Note that WE DO offer a WIFI FREE ZONE for those who wish to "zone out"
