Welcome to backpackers’ delight!

We are here for you with our adventure sports booking desk plus great tips on hiking and excursions.
For free and included: breakfast, linen (to put on and take off yourselves), use of self catering kitchen, private lockers, WiFi, entry to public swimming pools and mini golf, transport on local busses, parking, all taxes, climate neutral compensation (myclimate.org).

You can go for strong adventure with canyoning or bungy from a cable car right above a beautiful clear mountain lake. Or you want to take it easy and discover the air by paragliding or hanggliding instead.
Don't miss out on a hike with the view of Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau, the snow capped glacier mountains.

At Backpackers Villa we provide you with clean, comfortable and easy going accommodation, offering accommodation in 2-7 bed rooms with both en-suite facilities and showers/toilets shared in the hallway, choose from private rooms or dorms.
Enjoy the large garden with the view of the Jungfrau mountain and get the best hints for a great time from our local staff. No doubt you will make your friends envious at home with the fabulous pictures you take of all that you do and see.

Directions

Backpackers Villa is in walking distance from Interlaken Ost train station (about 10-15 minutes) in the centre of Interlaken at the corner Alpenstrasse/Parkstrasse. Or take bus no. 102 to stop 'Sonnenhof'.

Turn right out of the train station Interlaken Ost and follow main street (Hoheweg) to town center. At Hotel 'Du Nord' turn left (Klosterstr) and follow the park (large green field called 'Hohematte'). We are located on the second corner directly at the roundabout (corner Alpenstrasse/Parkstrasse).

Our reception is open from 7:00 to 23:00. Check-in from 16:00-23:00 (4-11 pm). If you arrive later than 23:00 (11 pm) you will get the keys out of our blue key box at the night entrance. Just enter the last 5 digits of your booking # and you will automatically get your keys. On entering the building you'll find all linen on the shelf together with some information for your stay.

Policies

You can change and cancel your reservation up to 24 hours prior arrival free of charge. For later cancellations and no-shows we charge the full amount of the first night to the credit card.

Please note that we do not accept children under 16 in shared dorm rooms. Please book a private room for your family. Babies up to 24 months are free (without a bed). For older children (2 yrs. +) please book a bed.
