Few people know something exceptional, the place where the translation of the Bible into Spanish began, the so-called Bear Bible, and it is the first monument to be named a Historic-Artistic Site of National Interest in Seville. Do you know which emblematic building we are talking about? The monastery of the Order of St. Jerome of San Isidoro del Campo, one of the key scenarios of Andalusian history.
We will tour the different rooms where we will discover murals from the 15th century, works by Martínez Montañez, and a unique architecture in a historical place essential to understanding the history of Seville. The Bible in Spanish starts here.
